La Tia Poloc is a restaurant in the jungle. There is even a pool available there. They serve one of the est poc chuc in Yucatan. The owner definitely loves plants as there is an abundance of tropical plants there. The prices are very decent and the quality of food is excellent.
Found it as we were looking for late lunch after visiting Chichen Itza. Found it based on reviews on line and we were not disappointed. Love this quaint location! Tried the local dish Poc Choc for the first time and loved it! Also had their cochina pibil, I lived in Mexico for over 20 and this was truly the best I’ve ever had! The service was fast and friendly! A must try!
I ate there yesterday with my family and it was amazing. Fresh food, appetizers, most directly from the garden. We had chicken, pork and sausage entres. Authentic Yucatan food, family owned. The food was delicious and the hospitality could not have been better. It is an absolute "don't miss" if you are in the area. Photos to come soon. 5 Stars.
Wonderful food service and atmosphere. Stopped on our way back from Chitchen Itza to Valladolid. Best recommendation ever. Poc-Chuk and Sausage was awesome
The food was AMAZING. Best tortillas I’ve had in my life. My fiancé and I were starving after chichen itza and il kil cenote. We had the most amazing meal and drinks there. We were absolutely stuffed and happy leaving. It’s a gorgeous atmosphere and I highly recommend skipping the buffets and coming straight here for a delicious authentic meal. I had the chicken and my fiancé had the pork poc chuk both were amazing. We also shared the guacamole and queso fundido. I can’t recommend this place enough. Also, it is soooo well priced.
You wouldn't think to stop here after your Chichen Itza trip, but it is a must. Let's make this place popular for all guests. A small outpost, with kind staff. We were recommended this place by our guide at CI. Authentic food, great prices, good quality, good staff. We made our own tortillas too, and got to try things like poc chuc, sikil Pak, longaniza vallodolid, and pibil. Must stop here.
Una experiencia ideal Yucateca. One of my favorite experiences ive had in all of Mexico. Beautiful gardens only out done by their perfectly cooked traditional yucatecan food. We all shared one plate of everything and it was all amazing. From the chaya waters to the panuchos, frijoles, longaniza, even the cheese ice cream and their local liquor. One of those unique places with no frills, just authentic environment and food. Can’t wait to come back
Amazing food , service and atmosphere. You will feel like you are in expensive nursery with lush greens and flowers. Service by Manual was excellent. Highly recommended on the way or from Chichen Itza
